It started in December 2011 when I arrived back to New York after spending five months working in Berlin. After having my own large "flat" over there, returning to my two-room studio apartment shared with The BFF (partner in crime since sixth grade) made me realize I was ready to become "a real person with her own space."
Which of course has somehow turned into me being homeless and staying on generous friends' couches. And I couldn't be more excited about it!
My first stop will be to Denver. After that, back to Austin, the place I spent my entire life up until I moved to Manhattan in January 2008. (It was me and The BFF's ultimate life-long friendship dream to move to NYC. Not only did we do it, but we survived. Luckily she still lives there so I can come visit and see all my other pals I miss so much.)
My favorite things include: spending time with important people in my life, eating, brunching, snacking, good sitcoms, blue skies & sunshine, working out, dogs, dogs who wear funny accessories, Liz Lemon, laughing, getting dressed up, classic rock, amazing 90s music we listened to at middle school dances, the beach, traveling, judging people on Facebook, Longhorn football, fresh cut flowers, theme parties, crafts, being socially awkward, exploring, adventures, live music, politics, getting good deals, being a general know-it-all, spending my time developing articulate opinions on non-important subjects, acting sassy, etc.
